What is social bookmarking?
It is the act of tagging or bookmarking a website and saving it for later. Instead of saving them to your web browser, you are saving them to the web. The use of this is that your bookmarks are online and can be accessed from anywhere at any time. These bookmarks can even be sent to your friends to let them know what you are checking out.
Social bookmark marketing
Internet marketers use social bookmarking to help promote their website or blog. It can be done by submitting the blog or web address to a site like Digg or Stumbleupon and then hope that their site gets voted up by users and as a result, get more traffic. There are tools on the web that can help you submit your website to various social bookmarking sites like Social marker but for the most internet marketers this is too time consuming so they would rather go for social bookmarking software like
Bookmark Demon that submits it all with your tags, url and description with a click of a button. Not all people support this method due to the person using social bookmarking software has a huge advantage above other internet marketers. Cool post when I was writing more often I ALMOST got to the point of abandoning the whole “social” bookmarking thing period.

I hope to rely on search traffic exclusively these sites are over rated and for the most part a waste of time. And social wise it’s mainly people (dudes) with pretty avatars trying to bait people to submit there lame sites made for adsense.
I waiting for the next HOT site DIGG Twitter SU all played out
you’d think we the money some of these companies have ie Yahoo they would have some killer sites. We shall see.

Varying the anchor text in backlinks is a vital thing to do, making the text fit in in as natural a way as is humanely possible. I often see people using unnatural anchor text in their links and it would stick out like a sore thumb to Google et al in my opinion. The text has to be in context and read naturally to humans.
