Becoming An Authority In The World Of Affiliate Marketing

The fact of the matter is that anyone can become a guru with enough self-hype and praise from close friends. This is what makes the world of internet marketing so difficult because for one, you need to look though the bullshit and two, you have to be careful who you trust.
Let us move on to how one becomes an authority in your selected niche:
1. Only promote QUALITY products
When marketing a product, be sure that the offer is one of quality and actually a product that you would use yourself. Violate this trust and you can forget about that client buying through you again. If however, you choose to market a product that your clients finds useful and valuable, they will keep on reading to see what incredible product you have to offer next.
2. Exceed expectations
An unexpected and unannounced bonus is always appreciated and could potentially increase the chances of an upsell and furthermore, boost your reputation in the world of affiliate marketing.
3. Best bang for your buck
Subject A is promoting a product with $200 worth of bonuses while subject B has a bonus value of $1000. Who do you think the consumer would rather buy from? Get the point?
4. Honesty
In the world of business, honesty could potentially gain the the trust of the consumer and ultimately lead to a sale. If you are reviewing a product and you feel unhappy about something, state it in your review. This has an enormous effect on the believability of an offer/product.
5. K.I.S.S (Keep It Simple Stupid)
People enjoy simplicity and if you present the offer with the basics such as advantages, disadvantages, personal opinion and a strong call to action, you can almost be sure that the click through rate would be much higher than an in depth review/squeeze page.
